Whirlpool Lemons. This front-loader has now locked the clothes in and won't turn on.

After 2 1/2 years, our $1000 washer is useless and has now locked our clothes in the washer...  I've found a possible solution here.

The part might cost $200-300 to replace, but we're done with this model washer.  Period.  It's destroyed about $50/month in clothes since we've had it. [Twists them up, tears holes in them, etc...]

The washer takes 2 hours to wash most loads, and never got them clean, etc...

On top of this, we have a lemon water heater [prone to thermal coupler breakage from dust bunnies getting trapped?!?] that's had its thermal coupler replaced already.  Probably $300 in plumber visits.

We've also been advised that our dishwasher that we've probably blown $700 in repairs on [probably should have just replaced it the first time.]

I'm never buying Whirlpool again.
